Pinaura is designed as a local-only Windows screenshot app. Screenshots, recordings, OCR text, thumbnails, metadata, settings, and logs are stored on your computer unless you choose to copy, export, open, paste, or share content with another app or service.
Data stored locally
Pinaura may store screenshots, recordings, OCR text, titles, tags, source metadata, thumbnails, annotation sidecars, settings, and diagnostic logs on your computer.
Data sharing
Pinaura does not intentionally upload screenshots, OCR text, recordings, microphone audio, or camera content to a Pinaura server. Content leaves your computer only when you copy, export, open, paste, or share it with another app or service.
OCR and recording
OCR uses local Windows capabilities when available. Microphone, camera, and optional system-audio recording features are controlled by local settings and are disabled unless you enable them for a recording workflow.
Diagnostics
Local logs help troubleshoot app behavior. They should not include full screenshot image contents, but may include file paths, timing details, settings summaries, and error messages.
